Senior Functional Specialist

RGC Argentina SA is a consulting and digital-product practice with operations in Buenos Aires and Houston. We work with upstream energy operators, mining companies and industrial leaders across Latin America and the United States to deliver measurable digital transformation: measurable timelines, incidents resolved, users in production.

We operate as a single consulting and technology practice in alliance with Roderick Consulting Inc (RCI) out of Houston.

We are looking for a Senior Functional and Project Specialist to support our clients on the implementation, evolution and support of management software and digital platforms across Energy, Mining and Agribusiness.

The person will be the bridge between the client's business and RGC's technical teams: capturing processes, defining solutions, coordinating deliveries, and sustaining the long-term relationship with the client's functional leadership.

• Capture, document and design business processes in the Energy, Mining and Agribusiness domains.
• Lead functional definition workshops and translate client requirements into actionable stories and specifications for the technical teams.
• Coordinate end-to-end implementations: planning, milestones, risks, governance, communication with senior client stakeholders.
• Support go-live and end-user adoption: training, materials, hyper-care support, usage metrics.
• Identify continuous-improvement and new-project opportunities within the assigned accounts.
• Report progress with specifics — measurable timelines, incidents resolved, users in production — to RGC leadership and the client sponsor.

• 5+ years in functional consulting, project management or product owner roles for management software.
• Demonstrable experience in at least one of: Energy (upstream, midstream, distribution), Mining or Agribusiness.
• Solid understanding of business processes — supply chain, maintenance, operations, finance or HSE depending on the domain.
• Ability to lead technical and business conversations with stakeholders across all levels (operations, management, executives).
• Professional command of process-modeling and documentation tools (BPMN, use cases, process maps).
• Intermediate-to-advanced English (fluent technical reading; meetings with the Houston office).

• On-site at client and RGC offices in Buenos Aires, with hybrid arrangements defined per project.
• Independent contractor agreement (monthly invoicing under monotributo).
• Availability for occasional travel within Argentina and eventually to Houston.
• Based in CABA or Greater Buenos Aires, available immediately or in the short term.
• Plus: agile methodology experience, PMP/PSM/PSPO certifications, hands-on use of SAP/Oracle/Salesforce or other industry ERP/CRM.
